Gate Survey

From a visible inspection of 16 of the museum’s gates, we were able to draw up a schedule of the gates at the museum, The Royal Observatory and its Kidbrooke storage facility that gave them an instantly accessible written and photographic record of each gate’s make-up, closing mechanism and condition invaluable for its maintenance and repair.
